Heading back to Namibia

Flying back to Namibia in <24 hours!  Egypt Air from JFK to Cairo to Johannesburg, then South African Airways from Johannesburg to Windhoek.

Pray for my travels, my mother who has to bring me to the airport and for our second set of good-byes. :-(  (First set being last August.)  It's definitely tough, but glad to have been able to spend this time with my family and to now be returning home to my husband. :-)

Thank you for your prayers, love, and support (in all its forms... amazed by our super generous friends, thank you!).  Much love!

I'm coming home...... but it's a roundtrip ticket!

Yeah... we can't believe it either.

Peace Corps is allowing me (Steph) to take a leave of absence to be with my family in NJ for health reasons.  Unfortunately since expense was on us and this is quite a trek to be making (not cheap!), Kevin and Patches will stay here while I go. :-(  Please think of and pray for them while they are here (you know Patches (and Kevin! ;-) ) with his separation anxiety!), for my safe travels and well-being, that I can be a support to my family during this time, and for peace and healing in my family.  As you can imagine, this has all been quite the whirlwind...!  Sorry for not very personal emails, time is just nuts right now, but do feel free to email us so you're at the forefront of our minds once we get a breather.

Also in case you are able and want to help us offset this financial burden or wanted to send us a care package or Christmas present but just didn't know what to get us(!), we would greatly appreciate your generosity!  You can actually transfer money pretty easily as a "personal" "gift" online here through PayPal, rather than writing a check which we may be unable to deposit (depending on where/when we receive it).  My email address for PayPal is st3fbach@hotmail.com .

Departing flight leaves Windhoek to Johannesburg, then Johannesburg to the States, this Saturday!  And arriving in JFK on Sunday afternoon!  Crazy soon!  And it's just crazy to imagine being in the good ol' US of A and seeing my family already since I had put those thoughts out of my mind for 2 years...

THANKS AND MUCH LOVE TO OUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS!  :-)
