Garden Route and a taste of autumn

We love and miss autumn and hadn't considered that we would get a taste of it while we were in South Africa.  What a pleasant surprise!!!!!  (And again, note the TREES!  Woohoo!)










Boy, could we live here.  You don't even have to choose between mountains and beaches!  If only we could transplant all of you...

    It's strange to look at fall shots when it's finally all nice and green here! The flowers are blooming and the hummingbirds are back! Yay!! Glad you are enjoying the trees and cooler temps. What a lovely part of the continent! What varieties of trees have you encountered - any species we have at home?

    In the picture of Kevin walking the dog, is that a Park you are visiting or your lodgings since I can see buildings off to the right side? Maybe if you wish, you can teach in South Africa someday.

    Aunt Pat, we were taking a walk through a residential neighborhood. Our lodging was nearby though. Actually, in the last picture we are just outside our accommodation. I don't think the moms would like your last idea very much!!!
